IDF says it carried out strike on Hamas military intelligence building

The Israel Defense Forces says in a statement that military aircraft carried out a strike on a building holding military intelligence services of the Hamas terror group in the Gaza Strip.

“IDF fighter jets and aircraft recently attacked the offices of the military intelligence of the terrorist organization Hamas in Rimal in the Gaza Strip,” the military says, referring to an upscale neighborhood of Gaza City.

The strike came as the Israeli military expanded its targets to also include institutions that Hamas uses to rule the Palestinian enclave, notably its treasury and banks.

The military says it will continue to hit targets in the Strip.
