IDF says projectile ‘from the east’ triggered sirens in Eilat area

The IDF says that a projectile launched “from the east,” a term it usually uses for Iraq, set off rocket warning sirens in the Eilat area around 6 a.m.

A statement from the military stresses the projectile didn’t enter Israeli territory without specifying if it was downed.
