IDF says rocket sirens in north were another false alarm

The Israel Defense Forces says rocket sirens that sounded in the northern town of Kiryat Shmona and nearby communities were a false alarm.
Several other alerts in the north today and yesterday have proven to be false alarms due to misidentification of flares sent into the air by the IDF.
The air defense systems in the north are currently set to a high sensitivity, amid concern Lebanon’s Hezbollah could join the fighting.
