In first, Ichilov says department will move to emergency underground facility

Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv announces that for the first time in its history, one of its departments will be transferred to its emergency underground hospital facility.

The first ward to be moved will be an internal medicine one from a wing of the Sourasky Building. It will be transferred to several floors underground in the parking garage of the Sammy Ofer building.

Patients will begin to be moved at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
