Iran executes man convicted of arson during January protests

Iran executed a man who was convicted of setting fire to a governor’s office and attacking a police station during unrest in the central city of Dehaqan in January, the judiciary’s Mizan news agency reports.

Mizan identifies the man as Mohammad Amini Dehaghani and says the Supreme Court had upheld his death sentence.
