Israel’s deterrence being tested ‘for years to come’ — Bennett

After Housing and Construction Minister Uri Ariel urges an Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip to end rocket firing, Economics Minister Naftali Bennett, who also heads Ariel’s Jewish Home party, warns that Israel has to act “decisively” in the Gaza Strip, or else risk weakening its deterrence.

“Israel’s deterrence is being tested now for years to come” with Israeli targets still coming under rocket fire, Bennett tells Channel 2.

“Israel has to prevail decisively, whether or not [UN Secretary-General) Ban Ki-moon likes it,” he says.
