Jewish residents of Hebron to receive tax breaks

The residents of the Jewish settlement in Hebron will receive tax breaks, the government decides, in order to compensate for ongoing terrorist attacks in the city.

The government is further debating whether residents of settlements defined as “high risk” will be eligible for benefits as well, Channel 2 reports.

The Finance Ministry estimates that the additional cost of adding tax benefits for settlements may reach up to NIS 600 million ($154.59 million) per year.
