Kerry, Zarif to meet during UN summit
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS Secretary of State John Kerry says he will meet with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Zarif “regarding Iran and other things,” on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly currently underway in New York.
Kerry says he will be holding talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in New York, during meetings “with almost every single one of the players on several different occasions.”
“[T]his will be a very timely meeting in New York that gives all of us a tremendous opportunity to be able to work together on finding some ways forward,” Kerry says.
