Kurdish forces say they are still fighting Syrian government in Aleppo
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleALEPPO, Syria — Kurdish forces deny the government’s claim that it was halting military operations in Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsud neighborhood, where the two sides have clashed for days.
In a statement, Kurdish forces call Damascus’ announcement “a blatant attempt to mislead public opinion,” saying their fighters were still repelling a “fierce attack.”
