Lapid says Bennett ‘wrong’ to bolt, vows to keep trying to form government
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleYesh Atid party leader Yair Lapid vows to continue his efforts to form a government, despite losing the crucial support of Naftali Bennett’s Yamina — which means he no longer has a plausible path to a government.
“Bennett is wrong, I will continue turning over every stone to form a government,” Lapid says in a press conference. “Change isn’t done when it’s convenient, it’s done when the path is the right one. I will keep working to form a government, and if needed, we will go to more elections and win.”
