MKs take to Facebook as ceasefire collapses

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni slams Hamas’s terrorist acts and says extremists need to be given “proper treatment.

“We will not have an ISIS Middle East!” Livni writers in a post.

“Whoever woke up this morning in our tough neighborhood, the Middle East, knows that a clear and global [moral] compass is required in the face of what comes out of Gaza and what is happening in Syria and Iraq. Extremist forces, terrorists and fanatics need treatment, and not the psychological kind, because there is no good reason for terror against civilians,” she concludes.

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz says that “Hamas understands only force.”

He adds Israel “must not negotiate under fire,” adding that, according to reports in the Strip, “thousands of Palestinians are fleeing their homes — they take us seriously.

“Now it’s our turn,” he concludes.

Housing Minister Uri Ariel asserts that “Israel cannot allow a terrorist organization to determine the rules of the game according to whatever suits them.”

Ariel says that “this reality must change immediately, and it will only happen by setting a clear target for security forces, which means the collapse of Hamas once and for all.”
