Nazareth mayor confident parties will drop opposition to joining Ra’am
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNazareth mayor Ali Salam, who is in touch with Ra’am party leader Mansour Abbas, tells Army Radio that he doesn’t buy all the big talk from parties saying they will refuse to join a coalition with the Islamist faction.
“Everyone can say they won’t sit with Abbas, but I’ve learned that what’s said in the media is not what is said in closed conference rooms. I’m sure a government will form, Mansour Abbas will be in it, and the Arab community will get everything it demands,” he says.
