No justification for ‘deluge of fire’ in Aleppo, France tells Russia

French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault tells Russia that there is no justifying the intense assault on Syria’s war-ravaged city of Aleppo.

“Nothing can justify such a deluge of fire and of death,” Ayrault says after meeting his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow, adding that “no one can tolerate this situation.”
