Palestinians hand father suspected of stabbing daughter to Israel police
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePalestinian authorities have handed an Arab Israeli man suspected of stabbing his daughter over to Israeli police.
Police say that the man’s wife has also been detained. They will appear before a court tomorrow.
The daughter, a 19-year-old student from the Galilee, was stabbed and critically injured in the dormitories of the Arab American University in the West Bank city of Jenin yesterday.
Her father was one of a number of people held.
Recent years have seen several instances of family members attacking young Arab women in suspected honor killings.
