Pope voices ‘concern’ over Afghanistan, calls for ‘dialogue’

Pope Francis expresses his concern over the situation in Afghanistan and calls for dialogue to resolve the conflict.

“I add my voice to the unanimous concern over the situation in Afghanistan,” the pontiff says during the weekly Angelus at the Vatican and calls for prayers “to end the noise of weapons and for solutions to be found at the table of dialogue.”
