Demonstrations are being held for the 19th straight week against the government’s judicial overhaul plans, though turnout appears set to be far lower than usual after protest organizers canceled official rallies in the south and center of the country due to the ongoing fighting between Israel and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

In Tel Aviv, where the main rally tends to attract over 100,000 people at its peak each week, hundreds of people are marching from Dizengoff Square to Kaplan Street.

A march is also being held in Haifa and around 1,000 people are rallying at the Nahalal Junction in northern Israel.
