Qatar says it intercepted a missile attack after blasts heard in Doha
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleQatar says it intercepted a missile attack, after AFP journalists in the capital Doha reported hearing several blasts.
“The Ministry of Defense of State of Qatar announces that armed forces intercepted a missile attack which targeted the State of Qatar,” the defense ministry writes on X.
The ministry does not say who was behind the attack.
Iran has stepped up attacks on Gulf countries following US strikes on its territory, targeting military facilities used by US forces in the region.
