Rashida Tlaib confronted Biden on Michigan tarmac over Gaza

During his visit to a Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan, Biden warmly addresses Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who sits in the audience, saying he will pray that her Palestinian grandmother and other family are well in the West Bank.

“I promise you I’m going to do everything to see that they are,” says Biden, who met Tlaib and fellow Michigan Democratic Rep. Debbie Dingell earlier at the Detroit airport where all three huddled in conversation on the tarmac for several minutes.

Tlaib confronted Biden on the tarmac and said he must do more for the Palestinians, amid the conflict between Israel and Gaza terror groups, according to The New York Times.

“It was a very compassionate, honest discussion,” says Dingell. “But the president doesn’t deal with these kinds of issues in public, and he doesn’t negotiate in public.”
