Sa’ar says Lebanon responsible for Hezbollah attacks after PM’s residence targeted

New Hope chairman Gideon Sa’ar, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s security cabinet, holds Lebanon responsible for the Hezbollah drone attack targeting the premier’s Caesarea residence yesterday.

“From the territory of a UN member state — Lebanon — an assassination attempt was made on the prime minister of Israel. From the Lebanese territory, Israel, its communities, and citizens have been attacked since October 8 for no reason,” Sa’ar writes on X.

“The fact that these attacks were carried out by an Iranian proxy — Hezbollah — does not absolve Lebanon of responsibility. And it won’t be absolved,” he adds.
