Convoys carrying the negotiating teams have left the second round of US-Iran talks in Geneva, reports say.
A US official tells the Axios news site that the talks have ended, and Iranian state media confirms the discussions have concluded.
“The second round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the US held in Geneva ended,” the ISNA news agency says.
There is no indication at this stage whether any progress was made, or how the sides feel about the atmosphere in the room.
Iran has insisted that the discussions be limited to the nuclear issue, though Washington has previously pushed for other topics to be discussed, including Tehran’s ballistic missiles and support for terror groups and armed militias in the region.
Earlier today, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that US President Donald Trump will not succeed in destroying the Islamic Republic, and threatened a US warship in the region.
