Thousands gather at Tel Aviv’s Kiryat Shaul cemetery for the funeral of fallen soldier Itay Chen, whose body was released by Hamas after having been held in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
Ruby Chen and his two other sons, Roi and Alon, recite the Mourner’s Kaddish, Chen’s arms slung over his sons’ shoulders. Each wears a black T-shirt bearing the image of Itay’s face.
