Supreme Court President Esther Hayut issues a statement against UTJ MK Yitzhak Pindrus, who was filmed last week saying he wanted to “blow up” the court.

“It is regrettable and upsetting that a member of the Knesset chose Independence Day, a celebration of Jewish democratic Israel, to express dangerous ambitions toward the Supreme Court using violent and callous language,” she says.

“It is even more galling and unfortunate that the MK chose to fan internal hatred during a conversation with youth in an educational framework.”
