The White House denies an Al Arabiya report that top US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner stayed behind in Pakistan in order to continue talks with Iran after US Vice President JD Vance headed home.
During a refuel stop at Rammstein Air Base in Germany on the way back from Pakistan, a US official tells the traveling pool that no US negotiators stayed behind in Islamabad, “including Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff or members of the technical teams,” according to the pool reporter.
