The US Central Command says in a statement that over the past 24 hours, its troops “successfully destroyed” two Houthi-operated drones over the Red Sea, as well as an “uncrewed surface vessel” in the body of water.

In addition, it says, it also destroyed a Houthi drone that was over a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen.

The statement says that the targets “presented an imminent threat to US, coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region.”
