Singer Noga Erez says she’s lost international bookings because she is Israeli

As singer Noga Erez completed an international tour for her new album, she posted an Instagram video Thursday in which she told her audience that many of her scheduled festival and media appearances abroad have been canceled because she is Israeli.
“I really wish it was just one case, but the list kind of keeps growing,” Erez said. “It’s not for anything that I said, it’s simply because I was born where I was born. I believe that boycotting artists will not bring a solution. I believe that banning songs, movies, plays, books, etc., is not going to fix the world’s problems.”
“The world is full of so much suffering. The amount of pain happening right now is devastating. I’ve seen some of it with my own eyes. Maybe right now would be the best time for us to try and find common ground, and not add to how shi**y it already is.”
Erez made guest appearances at two concerts in November alongside Pink, the Grammy award-winning Jewish-American pop star, in Arlington, Texas.
The Israeli singer is currently heavily pregnant with her first child, and has been performing with her belly bared to the crowd, running around on stage while urging the crowd to clap along.
Her third album, “The Vandalist,” came out in late September, a production by Erez and her life and music partner, Ori Rousso.
The album includes collaborations with international artists such as Flyana Boss, Dillom and Robbie Williams. Its release was delayed due to the October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attack in Israel.
