The body of a woman was discovered on Thursday sprawled on the roof of a restaurant in Tel Aviv.
The unidentified woman, who was estimated to have been about 30 years old, was found below the windows of a hotel on the Herbert Samuel promenade along the seafront, close to the United States Embassy.
A Magen David ambulance crew called to the scene pronounced the woman dead.
The body was removed for examination at the Abu Kabir Institute for Forensic Medicine.
The circumstances of the woman’s death were still unclear, and police said they hadn’t decided whether to launch a criminal investigation.
