Hundreds in Prague protest terror wave in Israel
Jewish state must defend itself as if it were in a state of war, local rabbi says

Some 300 people rallied in the heart of Prague to protest the recent wave of attacks against Israelis.
The organizers of Sunday’s event in Wenceslas Square charged that the attacks amounted to ethnic terror and were being overlooked by European countries.
Addressing the rally, Rabbi David Bohbot of the B’nai Israel congregation in the Czech capital said that the Israeli government should recognize that their country is at war, and that the Jewish people should defend themselves against the attackers as if they are in a war, the Czech news agency CTK reported.
The B’nai Israel community was among the rally organizers along with the Czech chapter of the Anti-Defamation League, the Jewish Liberal Union, the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem and other groups.
