An Israeli man was arrested at the Harare airport in Zimbabwe with a bag full of 1,400 unpolished diamonds, according to a report in the British newspaper The Telegraph.

According to the report, 55-year-old Shmuel Klein, who lives in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Tel Aviv and works as a commercial pilot, was passing through Zimbabwe on his way to South Africa. Airport officials said Klein seemed nervous during security checks, before the diamonds were discovered in his luggage. Klein claimed that the diamonds were not his, and that he was framed.
