Israeli lightly injured in West Bank stabbing

Initial reports suggest attack nationalistically motivated

A 17-year-old Palestinian allegedly stabbed an Israeli citizen in the neck, injuring him lightly, near the Betar Ilit settlement in the West Bank on Wednesday.

Magen David Adom paramedics treated the man and evacuated him to a hospital in nearby Jerusalem.

The perpetrator was detained at the scene. Initial reports said his actions were nationalistically motivated.
