An unknown assailant lobbed a small pipe bomb into the Rachel’s Tomb complex near Bethlehem on Monday night, causing an explosion.
One person was lightly injured and treated on the spot, according to Israel Radio. The blast reportedly occurred in the parking lot.
IDF units were out searching the area for the perpetrator.
Earlier Monday, a Palestinian attacker hurled a grenade at an IDF base near Bethlehem.
No one was hurt and no damage was caused in the attack, which came hours after US Secretary of State John Kerry wrapped up his 10th visit to the region.
