The American pop rock band The Killers is planning to stop in Israel in October as part of its up-coming world tour, Channel 2 reported on Monday.
The band, headed by vocalist and keyboard player Brandon Flowers, will be making its first visit to Israel.
Although a date for the show has yet to be set, the venue will reportedly be the open-air Exhibition Grounds in Tel Aviv. The group will arrive after an October 11 concert in Dubai.
The Killers, comprising Flowers, guitarist Dave Keuning, bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr., began their career a decade ago in Las Vegas and since then have sold over 17 million singles around the world.
The band has won five NME awards and been nominated for seven Grammys. Its first single was the highly acclaimed “Mr. Brightside” and its top album, Hot Fuss, has sold over seven million copies.
