Jordanian analyst forgoes pants for TV interview
Social media delights in footage of Majid Asfour speaking to Al-Jazeera in tie and (half a) suit
A short clip showing a Jordanian political analyst interviewed on cable TV without pants has gone viral on social media in the Arab world.
According to the website Gulf News, Majid Asfour was interviewed by Al-Jazeera regarding the recent shooting of two Jordanian nationals by an Israeli security guard as one of them attacked him at the Israeli Embassy in Amman.
The footage of Asfour as he was being interviewed was posted online on Wednesday.
The camera shows Asfour as he appeared on TV, and then pans to the right to show him giving the interview in front of his laptop.

It can then be seen that Asfour is wearing a formal shirt, tie and jacket as he balances the laptop on two pillows rested on his lap — but no pants.
