12 vaccinated nursing home residents test positive for coronavirus; have no symptoms
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTwelve elderly residents of a nursing home in Beersheba were recently found to be positive for coronavirus despite having been fully vaccinated against the virus, Channel 12 News reports.
The residents were tested after a worker at the facility was infected.
None of them are currently exhibiting any symptoms.
Health officials are now doing genetic sequencing for the 12 individuals to check what version of the virus they have, and whether it is one of the more infectious variants.
