3 arrested for assault during right-wing riot at Ra’anana synagogue
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice say they arrested three people suspected of assault during a riot by by right-wing activists outside a synagogue in Ra’anana where people were gathered for a screening of the joint Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day ceremony.
Four police officers were lightly injured amid the violence.
Kfar Saba police were on the scene earlier that evening to provide security for the ceremony, a police spokesman says.
The three suspects were taken to a nearby police station for questioning. Officers will then decide whether to request an extension on the detainees’ remand.
