31 arrested overnight in West Bank as IDF launches operation ‘Breakwater’

The Israel Defense Forces says 31 suspects have been arrested in the West Bank overnight, following a wave of deadly attacks in Israel.
The arrest operation — dubbed “Breakwater” — targeted individuals suspected of planning future attacks, as well as some thought to be tied to Tuesday’s deadly attack in Bnei Brak, perpetrated by a Palestinian from a village near Jenin.
Among the detainees is a Palestinian from Hebron suspected of affiliation with Islamic State, the military says.
The military publishes a video from the overnight raids. During the arrests, the IDF says troops killed three Palestinians who opened fire on them.
