From Actor Kevin Spacey performs one-man show in Tel Aviv

Actor Kevin Spacey performs in Hangar 11, a Tel Aviv performance space, for his one-man show, “Songs & Stories.”
The show opens with a video vignette of his top film moments, including when Spacey received an Academy Award.
Spacey is trying to make a return to public life, following eight years of accusations of sexual misconduct and being shunned by the global film industry.
He jokes about being fired from Netflix’s “House of Cards” and not being legally allowed to mention the characters’ names from the show.
“I’m so excited to be back in Israel,” says Spacey, after first admonishing an audience member who insisted on taking a selfie with him before the show.
“Don’t ever fuck up an entrance like that ever again,” says Spacey.
In a slightly hoarse voice, occasionally sipping from a glass cup of tea, Spacey sings jazzy tunes accompanied by a five-piece band.
The audience of hundreds is full of applause for Spacey.
Spacey talks about his first trip to Israel in 1986 with actor Jack Lemmon to perform the play “A Long Day’s Journey” in Tel Aviv, one of many stories he recounts about his decades in the performing arts.
