AG gearing up to indict PM on quid pro quo deal with Yedioth’s Mozes — report

Avichai Mandelblit is said to be leaning toward the opinion of the prosecution, which is recommending that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be charged for bribery in Case 2000, Channel 12 news reports.

Case 2000 involves a suspected illicit quid pro quo deal between Netanyahu and Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper publisher Arnon Mozes that would have seen the prime minister weaken a rival daily, the Sheldon Adelson-backed Israel Hayom, in return for more favorable coverage from Yedioth.
