Attorney general approves criminal probe of Zoabi
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAttorney General Yehuda Weinstein approves a criminal investigation against MK Hanin Zoabi (Balad) on charges of incitement of violence and insulting a public official.
In the case in question, Zoabi took part in a protest outside the Nazareth Magistrate’s Court and allegedly hurled grievous abuse at a police officer.
The Israel Police’s chief of investigation and intelligence, Commissioner Manny Yitzhaki, requested the investigation from Weinstein.
