Former prime minister Naftali Bennett slams Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud as well as the Knesset’s Haredi parties, after the Degel HaTorah faction announced that its rabbinic leadership had given its MKs a “green light” to support the latest draft of the government’s bill regulating Haredi enlistment.
“Likud and the Haredi parties have agreed to advance the ‘Draft Evasion Law.’ In doing so, they are imposing hundreds of additional reserve duty days on the reservists. How dare they?” he posts on X.
“Let me be clear: In the first cabinet meeting under my leadership, we will cancel this despicable anti-Zionist law. Don’t lose hope. Better days are still ahead,” he adds.
