Bennett meeting with senior health officials to debate new virus restrictions
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Naftali Bennett begins a meeting with Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz and senior Health Ministry officials to discuss new restrictions to curb the spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant.
The meeting is expected to deal with proposals to impose significant restrictions on large crowds and to expand the Green Pass system to the entire commerce sector.
Horovitz is expected to demand that any new restrictions be conditioned on the provision of compensation to businesses, Channel 12 news reports.
