Berlin police kept Israeli embassy in the dark about dead son, father alleges

The father of Yaniv Avraham, whose body was found at a Berlin hotel after he was missing since last Thursday, criticizes Berlin police for allegedly keeping Israel and the family in the dark despite having found the body last week.

“We are surprised to discover that Berlin police found his body already on Thursday, and until today didn’t update the family or the embassy,” the father, Herzl, says. “Something in this tragic story is unclear. We didn’t get any information from an official source.”
