Bitan associate nearing deal to turn state’s witness against Likud MK — report
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn associate of Likud MK David Bitan is reportedly on the cusp of turning state’s witness against the lawmaker in the widening corruption probe into the lawmaker.
According to Channel 10 news, real estate developer Dror Glazer is nearing a deal with prosecutors to testify against Bitan.
Glazer is suspected of transferring NIS 150,000 ($43,000) to Bitan via Rishon Lezion furniture store owner Moshe Yosef, exchange for the former coalition chairman attempting to advance legislation.
The TV report says Glazer’s testimony is expected to incriminate Bitan along with senior city officials from Tel Aviv and Rishon Lezion.
