Blinken says Israel shared intel with US about Gaza media building strike
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS Secretary of State Antony Blinken says Israel has given the United States information about its bombing of a Gaza building housing The Associated Press, Al-Jazeera and other media outlets.
Israel has claimed that Hamas had a military intelligence office in the Gaza building which it leveled in a weekend airstrike. It has not publicly provided evidence. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel will share any evidence of Hamas’s presence in the targeted building through intelligence channels.
Blinken says from Iceland that “we have received some further information through intelligence channels.” He declines to characterize the material, saying “that’s not something I can comment on.”
