Boy slightly injured in West Bank rock attack

A 5-year-old boy has been very lightly injured in a rock throwing attack southeast of Jerusalem, according to initial Hebrew media reports.

The incident occurs near the T-junction between the settlements of Tekoa, Efrat and Maaleh Amos in the Etzion settlement bloc, a frequent site of stone-throwing assaults.

Two cars suffer damage from rocks and the boy is treated at the scene.

The IDF says it is investigating the reports.
