Florida burglar escapes police — gets eaten by alligator
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA burglar who broke into several homes in Palm Bay, Florida, managed to escape police and hide in Barefoot Lake Bay – but was then devoured by an alligator, local police says after concluding an investigation.
Matthew Riggins, 22, told his girlfriend he and another person would be committing burglaries, a police officer told the local Florida Today website.
The second suspect is being held but is not cooperating with the police, according to the report.
