Gaza Health Ministry: One dead in IDF’s Gaza tunnel demolition
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Gaza Health Ministry says one person has died in connection with the IDF’s demolition of an attack tunnel from the Strip that entered Israeli territory.
The ministry also increases the number of people said injured in the tunnel explosion to nine, including one critically, from the eight that it previously reported.
The man who was killed in the Israeli detonation of the tunnel is identified as Ahmed Abu Armanah by health ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra.
A security source says the 10 casualties were members of Islamic Jihad, a terrorist group allied with Hamas, which rules the Strip.
