Hamas military wing says Gazan killed in Israeli strike was one of its members

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, announces on its website that one of its fighters died in an Israeli airstrike earlier in the day.

On Thursday afternoon, the IDF carried out an airstrike on a group of Gazans launching incendiary balloons at southern Israel, according to the army.

The Qassam Brigades identify the deceased fighter as Abdel Karim Radwan.

The Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza says Radwan was 22 years old.
