Haredi protesters clash with police in Jerusalem, near Beit Shemesh

Also in Jerusalem, protesters clash with police on a main road in the Ramot neighborhood and in the Sanhedriya neighborhood of the capital.

These are the first major Haredi protests since last Tuesday, when 14-year-old Yosef Eisenthal was killed after a bus drove into a group of ultra-Orthodox protesters who had surrounded the vehicle and threatened the driver.
Earlier today, a court ordered that the bus driver’s remand into house arrest be extended, and his driver’s license be revoked for at least 90 days.
