The head of Israel’s manufacturers association says essential industries will operate continuously to ensure that the needs of the economy in terms of production and supply, particularly to retail chains, are met.
Following the escalation in the security situation, the president of the Israel Manufacturers Association, Dr. Ron Tomer, states that the industry will do everything in its power to prevent shortages of food, medicines, or any other essential product and will ensure that shelves remain filled.
“The Home Front Command’s guidelines must be followed, and there is no need to storm the shelves,” says Tomer. “The hoarding of products can lead to a shortage.”
“The industry will operate even under fire so that supplies will be available to the public throughout the country at any given moment,” he adds.
