Huckabee headed to Israel to discuss Iran deal, raise money

Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee says he will visit Israel later this week to discuss the “insane” Iran deal with officials in Jerusalem.

Huckabee, a frequent visitor to Israel, tells CNN’s State of the Union he will also attempt to raise money for his campaign among American-Israelis during the trip, starting Tuesday.

“I think it is the most dangerous situation that we face, not just for the Middle East but for the rest of the world in a long time,” he says. “The Iranian government is not to be trusted.”
